Job description

Purpose of the role

Vehicle & Platform Architecture design, Conceptual design of vehicle. Layout design, Packaging study & Resolve interface issues.

Role Description

• Verification of product requirements with Vehicle Line Team against the agreed product
• Create Vehicle & Platform architectures to meet product requirements (using Powertrain, EE, Software Architectures).
• Vehicle layout for the platform, including package/ grid / Role/ Character/ Modularity proposals and Design direction
• Concept designed for key parts and systems that demonstrate the compatibility requirements of the platform bandwidth in 3D Master, Product Engineering BOM
• Concept study to re-architect systems to meet the weight /cost / performance / CG and attribute targets
• Drive all integration studies (bracket elimination, system integration, DFA, DFS etc.) and Technologies integration
• Virtual analysis of dynamic/static Interferences, Clearances & mechanisms. Ergonomic , Stack up & DFX analysis
• FDR Docs like Design Score card, DFMEA preparation
