Job summary

Groupe SEGULA Technologies SA in Pune, India, seeks an automotive design engineer to drive CAD-driven design, validation, and optimization activities. You will coordinate with teams, manage change requests, and ensure alignment with customer specifications.

You will analyze issues, update CAD models, and collaborate with international suppliers to ensure production readiness. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Master's or bachelor's degree in Mechatronic, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software NX/Unigraphics and Teamcenter.
• Knowledge of vehicle architecture, electrical schematics, and EE components.
• Experience in design validation and structural stress analysis.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle team coordination and execute project deliverables.

• Support CAD updates and oversee supplier processes from SOB to production readiness.

• Track, organize, and resolve open design issues.
• Provide technical feedback and recommendations to improve designs..
• Present design modifications and updates to higher management.
• Verify technical volumes, interferences, leverages, and forces in models.
• Support CAD updates and oversee supplier processes from onboard (SOB) to production readiness.

Must have:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3-6 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Unigraphics NX, Teamcenter).
• Tools: NX/TCAE, PLM, Excel, CATIA/Enovia, Codep, Doc info, GIDAP, Gantt Chart, APQP/PAPP
• Knowledge of vehicle architecture, electrical schematics, and EE components.
• Experience in design validation and structural stress analysis.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with DFMEA, PPAP, ECR, and DVPR processes.
• Understanding of injection molding and other manufacturing processes.
• Experience in handling projects with foreign customers and suppliers.
