Responsibilities

• Prepare layouts with optimized vehicle specifications.
• Conduct packaging studies and complete packaging of subsystems.
• Resolve critical packaging issues through concept models.
• Optimize layouts based on various engineering inputs.
• Conduct interface checks and resolve issues collaboratively.
• Prepare FDR documents like Design Scorecards and DFMEAs.
• Coordinate IP activities and ensure compliance before gate releases.
• Ensure modularity of the layout through analysis.
• Resolve conflicts between functional systems through collaboration.
• Conduct virtual analyses of interferences and ergonomics.

Job description

Role Description

• Layout preparation with optimized vehicle spec's & hard points.
• Create envelope by conducting packaging study & complete packaging of Sub systems.
• Resolve Critical packaging issues of all the Sub systems through draft concept models & verifications.
• Optimize layout based on DFX, CFD, NVH & IP inputs
• Conduct Interface check & Resolve interface issues through workshops, CFT meets & CTC meet.
• FDR Docs like Design Score card, DFMEA preparation
• Coordinate IP activities & ensure FTO, IDF is taken care before each gate releases.
• Ensure Modularity of the layout through White space analysis, benchmark etc.
• Understand & resolve conflicts between the functional systems, collaborating with respective functional experts.
• Virtual analysis of dynamic/static Interferences, Clearances & mechanisms. Ergonomic , Stack up & DFX analysis
