Job summary

Saaki Argus And Averil Consulting in Chennai seeks a Vehicle Software Architect with 8–14 years of automotive software leadership to design and drive architecture for advanced ECUs and EV functions.

You will collaborate with hardware, firmware, QA, and product teams, enforce MISRA, CAPL, and CI/CD practices, and own safety and cybersecurity considerations across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 8–14 years of automotive software experience with a Bachelor's/Master’s degree.
• Expertise in Automotive/EV systems, Embedded C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow, CAPL, Python, MISRA, and Agile methodologies.
• Lead end-to-end software architecture and development for primary ECUs and EV functions.
• Drive AI-in-the-loop SDLC improvements and CI/CD adoption.
• Own and review requirements for Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, and DFMEA/HARA/TARA/HAZOP.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software architecture and development for primary ECUs and EV functions.
• Translate requirements into robust architectures, designs, specifications.
• Drive architectural standards, design patterns, and coding guidelines.
• Lead code reviews, risk mitigation, performance optimization, and quality initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Require 1215 years of automotive software experience with a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree and proven System/Software Architecture leadership skills.
• Bring strong expertise in Automotive/EV systems, Embedded C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow, CAPL, Python, MAAB, MISRA, and Agile methodologies.
• Lead end-to-end software architecture and development for primary ECUs and EV functions, ensuring scalable, high-performance solutions.
• Translate business and system requirements into robust software architectures, designs, specifications, and ASWC documentation.
• Drive architectural standards, design patterns, coding guidelines, and best practices across the embedded software organization.
• Lead code reviews, technical decisions, risk mitigation, performance optimization, and software quality initiatives.
• Drive AI-in-the-loop SDLC improvements and adoption of modern development, automation, and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, QA, product management, and customers to deliver reliable automotive software solutions.
• Own and manage requirements related to Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, homologation, and conduct DFMEA, HARA, TARA, and HAZOP activities.
• Define and review testing strategies including Unit Testing, MISRA-C/static analysis, bench testing, and system-level validation.
