Job summary

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. is seeking an experienced Powertrain software development lead for advanced automotive projects in India.

The role focuses on end-to-end software architecture, function integration, and AUTOSAR-based modular software for powertrain ECUs. The candidate will perform requirement engineering, develop functions using Model-based development, validate through MIL/SIL/HIL, and ensure compliance with ISO26262 and ASPICE.

Qualifications

• BE/ME or equivalent with project work related to advance automotive software development.
• 9–15 years of experience
• Experience in ISO26262 and ASPICE
• Cyber security and software update regulation provisioning in software
• DFMEA & other controls analysis for software
• AUTOSAR based software for powertrain controls
• Model based development and auto coding for implementation
• White box and black box software sharing & integration
• Close loop MIL, SIL and HIL testing

Responsibilities

• Powertrain control software development for series production and advanced engineering projects.
• End to end responsibility of series level software from software architecture to function integration of ASW & BSW in given ECU for AUTOSAR/AUTOSAR like modular software.

• Advance Powertrain software development & validation lead

Requirements

• Perform requirement engineering and function development for advance safety or powertrain controller (EVC, HCU, ECM,ESP etc).
• Perform software development as per ISO26262 and ASPICE
• Cyber security and software update regulation related provisioning in software.
• DFMEA & other controls analysis for software
• Advance engineering projects for AUTOSAR based software for powertrain controls.
• Prepare SW architecture for new functions.
• Prepare implementation of control function using Model based development and auto coding for same.
• White box and black box SW sharing & integration.
• Perform close loop MIL, SIL and HIL testing
