Job summary

LTM is seeking an Infrastructure Lead Specialist Storage Backup P3 in Bengaluru to lead enterprise storage backup initiatives. The role focuses on Veeam with Pure Storage FlashArray/FlashBlade, supporting both on‑prem and cloud deployments.

You will architect, implement, and optimize backup solutions, coordinate with VMware, Hyper‑V, and database teams, and drive DR readiness and performance tuning across data centers and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of IT experience in enterprise storage backup.
• Deep knowledge of Veeam Backup Replication and Pure Storage platforms.
• Experience designing storage and backup solutions for on‑premise and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end storage provisioning and backup implementation across on‑premises and cloud environments.
• Architect storage and backup solutions on Pure Storage integrated with Veeam for enterprise workloads.
• Configure and maintain backup operations for VMware, Hyper‑V, physical servers, and databases (Oracle SQL, SAP, MongoDB).
• Utilize Pure Storage features: snapshot integration, ActiveCluster/ActiveDR, and native snapshots for rapid recovery.
• Manage SAN fabrics, zoning, LUN provisioning, and host connectivity; ensure data integrity and performance.
• Perform RCA, troubleshoot complex issues, and lead outages with vendor coordination.
• Create SOPs, provide training, and support L1/L2 teams; drive change control and CMDB accuracy.
• Lead capacity forecasting, health checks, upgrades, and patching of storage and backup infra.

Key Responsibilities

• Excellent knowledge of Veeam Backup Replication and indepth expertise on Pure Storage platforms FlashArray FlashBlade
• Lead endtoend storage provisioning backup implementation and administration across onpremises and cloud environments
• Architect and design storage and backup solutions on Pure Storage integrated with Veeam for enterprise workloads
• Configure and maintain backup operations for VMware HyperV physical servers and database clients Oracle SQL SAP MongoDB

• Extensive experience with SAN fabrics Brocade and Cisco zoning LUN provisioning and host connectivity
• Strong knowledge of NFS CIFSSMB iSCSI Fibre Channel protocols and NASSAN environments
• Strong knowledge of deduplication replication snapshot and data tiering concepts
• Troubleshoot complex storage and backup failures perform root cause analysis RCA and drive issues to closure
• Strong foundation of knowledge around Azure AWS cloud services cloud storage and cloud DR solutions
• Experience in configuring DR as per design by leveraging onpremise datacenters and cloud environments
• Perform health checks upgrades performance tuning and patching of storage and backup infrastructure
• Proactively maintain and manage the storage and backup environment capacity forecasting and performance management
• Create Standard Operating Procedures SOPs serve as key contact for L1L2 teams and provide trainingknowledge transfer
• Create RCAs resolve issues and lead critical outages with vendor coordination for breakfix and part replacement
• Lead weeklymonthly reporting capacity forecasting and vulnerability assessments
• Change Management Independently prepare review implement rollback and test plans for change records Perform risk and impact analysis
• Configuration Management Ensure CMDB entries are complete and accurate
• PowerShell Shell scripting knowledge and automation skills for provisioning monitoring and management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility to work in 247 shift model and provide oncall support

Desired Skills

• Maintain and test backup and disaster recovery plans lead DR drills
• Experience with data migration storagetostorage and backup migration
