Job summary

DB Engineering & Consulting is seeking a CAD Engineer - Signalling to support international projects. You will prepare and modify signalling drawings using AutoCAD, design cable and equipment layouts, and ensure drawings meet customer specs and industry standards.

Requires a Diploma/Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics or related field and at least 3 years in railway signalling CAD work. Relocation support and global onboarding are offered for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering field.
• Minimum 3 years CAD drafting/design experience in Railway/Metro Signalling.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and related CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, modify, and maintain signalling engineering drawings using AutoCAD and related CAD tools.
• Design Cable Core Plans, Outdoor Location Plans, Equipment Layout Plans, Cable Plans, Termination drawings, and Earthing & Bonding diagrams.
• Interpret Signalling Plans, Control Tables, equipment requirements and cable schedules for CAD drawings.
• Review designs to ensure compliance with customer specs, project requirements and industry standards.
• Coordinate with Signalling engineers, project managers and other disciplines for updates.
• Produce As-Built drawings and design revisions from feedback.
• Maintain drawing records, project documentation and revision control processes.
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely completion of deliverables.
• Participate in design reviews and resolve drafting-related issues.

The Role - CAD Engineer - Signalling to support designs for International Projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, modify, and maintain signalling engineering drawings using AutoCAD and re-lated CAD tools.
• Design Cable Core Plans , Outdoor Location Plans, Equipment Layout Plans, Cable Plans, Termination drawings, and Earthing & Bonding diagrams.
• Understand engineering inputs such as Signalling Plans, Control Tables, equipment re-quirements and cable schedules for preparation and modification of CAD drawings.
• Review engineering designs and ensure drawings comply with customer specifications, project requirements, and industry standards.
• Coordinate with Signalling engineers, project managers, and other disciplines to incor-porate design updates.
