Job summary

Chembond Chemicals in Gujarat, India is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine checks and servicing of utility machinery, assist in mechanical and electrical repairs, and identify faults for quick breakdown resolution.

You will work with the maintenance team to minimize downtime, follow scheduled plans, ensure lubrication and calibration, and record activities in logbooks while complying with safety and plant standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine checks and servicing of Utility machinery.
• Assist in repairs and replacements of mechanical and electrical components.
• Identify faults and support in quick resolution of breakdowns.
• Work with the maintenance team to minimize downtime.
• Follow scheduled maintenance plans to prevent equipment failures
• Ensure proper lubrication, calibration, and servicing of machines.
• Follow all safety procedures while handling machinery.
• Maintain compliance with plant maintenance standards.
• Record maintenance activities and maintain logbooks.
• Coordinate with senior technicians and engineers for complex repairs.
• Utility operator will be in-charge of handling the following utilities: - DG Set, Fire System, Chiller, Boiler, Air Compressor, Cooling Tower, N2 Plant, ETP, STP, DM Plant, Raw Water Plant
