MMK is seeking a Utility Engineer for the Projects team in India. The role involves planning, executing, and completing utility-related work for the New Moulding Line Project, ensuring safe installation, on-time delivery, and budget compliance.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 7–10 years of experience in utility systems and industrial projects, and strong knowledge of HVAC, compressed air, chilled water, steam, WTP/ETP/STP, and fire protection systems.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Experience of 7–10 years in utility systems and industrial projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, compressed air, chilled water, steam, WTP, ETP, STP and fire protection systems is essential.

Aufgaben

• Review project drawings and technical documents related to utility systems.
• Plan and execute utility installation and modification work.
• Prepare and review utility layouts, P&IDs, and technical documents.
• Manage utility systems (compressed air, chillers, cooling towers, HVAC, steam, WTP, ETP, STP, fire protection, water systems).
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams.
• Prepare project schedules, budgets, and material requirements.
• Support vendor evaluation and selection.
• Monitor progress to avoid delays and extra costs.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure all project documents and handover are completed.

Position: Utility Engineer - Projects
Duration: 12 Months & Further extendable on MMK payroll

Location: Sanand

Purpose of the Role

To plan, execute, and complete utility-related work for the New Moulding Line Project. The role ensures that all utility systems are installed safely, on time, within budget, and meet project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Review project drawings and technical documents related to utility systems.
2. Plan and execute utility installation and modification work.
3. Prepare and review utility layouts, P&IDs, and technical documents.
4. Manage utility systems such as: Compressed Air system, Chiller Plant, Cooling Towers, HVAC Systems, Steam network, WTP, ETP, and STP, Fire Protection Systems, Industrial and Domestic Water Systems
5. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams.
6. Prepare project schedules, budgets, and material requirements.
7. Support technical evaluation and selection of vendors.
8. Monitor project progress and take action to avoid delays and extra costs.
9. Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
10. Ensure all project documents, as-built drawings, and handover documents are completed

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering with 7 to 10 years of experience in utility systems and industrial projects.
2. Good knowledge of HVAC, compressed air, chilled water, steam, WTP, ETP, STP, and fire protection systems.
3. Experience in project execution, contractor management, and commissioning activities.
4. Understanding safety standards and engineering practices.
