Job summary

KA Consultancy is seeking a skilled interior designer in Goa to translate client requirements into compelling concepts. You will develop layouts, 2D/3D drawings, mood boards, and detailed working drawings while selecting materials and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities include site visits, BOQ preparation, and maintaining documentation. Stay informed on trends and best practices to deliver high-quality, safe, budget-conscious designs.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements, preferences, budget, and project scope.
• Develop concept designs, layouts, space plans, and mood boards.
• Prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings, floor plans, elevations, and working drawings.
• Select suitable materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, colours, and accessories.
• Create design presentations and communicate concepts effectively to clients.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and site execution teams.
• Conduct site visits and ensure execution is in accordance with approved designs.
• Prepare BOQs and assist in material and cost estimation.
• Coordinate with vendors for material selection, quotations, and timely delivery.
• Monitor project progress and resolve design-related issues at the site.
• Ensure designs meet quality, functionality, safety, and budget requirements.
• Maintain project documentation, drawings, and design revisions.
• Stay updated with current interior design trends, materials, and industry practices.
