Job summary

KA Consultancy in Goa (Panaji) is seeking an interior designer to translate client requirements into concept designs, layouts and mood boards, and to develop 2D/3D drawings, floor plans and elevations.

You will select materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, colours, and accessories, prepare presentations, and coordinate with architects and vendors to ensure quality, safety and budget adherence on site.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements, preferences, budget, and project scope.
• Develop concept designs, layouts, space plans, and mood boards.
• Prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings, floor plans, elevations, and working drawings.
• Select suitable materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, colours, and accessories.
• Create design presentations and communicate concepts effectively to clients.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and site execution teams.
• Conduct site visits and ensure execution is in accordance with approved designs.
• Prepare BOQs and assist in material and cost estimation.
• Coordinate with vendors for material selection, quotations, and timely delivery.
• Monitor project progress and resolve design-related issues at the site.
• Ensure designs meet quality, functionality, safety, and budget requirements.
• Maintain project documentation, drawings, and design revisions.
• Stay updated with current interior design trends, materials, and industry practices
