Job summary

Aesthetic Living Merchants in Gurugram, India, is seeking an interior designer to develop concepts, layouts, furniture plans, and detailed drawings for diverse projects.

You will coordinate with clients, architects, vendors, and site teams, review 3D drawings, and prepare mood boards and proposals.

The role involves site visits, material selections, and ensuring timely sign-offs and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts, layouts, furniture plans, and detailed drawings for residential and commercial projects.
• Prepare and review 3D drawings, furniture layouts, elevations, sections, and working drawings.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, vendors, production teams, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Develop material palettes, finishes, furniture selections, fabrics, accessories, and lighting concepts as per the design.
• Prepare presentations, mood boards, material boards, and design proposals.
• Coordinate with the procurement and production teams to ensure materials and furniture are executed as per approved designs.
• Conduct site visits for measurements, design coordination, and quality checks.
• Review samples, mock-ups, and finished furniture before dispatch/installation.
• Follow up on design approvals and ensure timely sign-off from clients and architects.
• Maintain project-wise design documentation and ensure drawings are issued to the factory/site on time.
• Identify design or execution issues proactively and coordinate with the relevant team for resolution.
• Track project timelines and ensure design deliverables are completed as per agreed deadlines.
• Coordinate with senior designers and management for project reviews and approvals.
