JOB PURPOSE
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and managing business opportunities in the medical education admission sector, particularly MBBS, MD and MS admissions, while building relationships with students, parents, educational institutions, hospitals, colleges, universities, consultants and other relevant organizations. The role will focus on business development, institutional tie‑ups, lead generation, admission counselling coordination, relationship management, revenue generation and achievement of assigned targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Medical Admission Business Development
- Generate business opportunities for MBBS, MD and MS admissions through legitimate and compliant admission channels.
- Develop student and parent networks for medical education counselling.
- Understand NEET-UG/NEET-PG admission processes, counselling procedures, eligibility requirements and applicable quota/category rules.
- Coordinate with the counselling team for student profiling, college/course options and admission follow‑up.
- Maintain updated information on colleges, courses, eligibility, fees and counselling schedules.
- Ensure that all admission‑related communication is based on verified and approved information.
B. Institutional & Corporate Tie‑Ups
- Develop and maintain professional relationships/tie‑ups with:
- Medical colleges and universities
- Educational institutions
- Hospitals and healthcare organizations
- Coaching and entrance‑preparation institutes
- Schools and colleges
- Education consultants
- Student referral partners
- Corporate/HR organizations
- Educational agencies and other relevant firms
Important: All tie‑ups must be properly authorized and documented by Management and comply with applicable laws, counselling rules and institutional policies.
C. Business Development
- Identify new markets, partners and admission opportunities.
- Develop a database of potential institutional and referral partners.
- Arrange meetings with decision‑makers and institutional representatives.
- Prepare proposals and partnership presentations.
- Negotiate commercial terms within Management‑approved limits.
- Convert prospective partners into active business relationships.
- Maintain regular communication with existing partners.
- Develop long‑term relationships rather than one‑time transactions.
D. Lead Generation & Admission Conversion
- Generate qualified leads through institutional networks, referral partners, events, seminars and approved marketing channels.
- Coordinate with Telecallers and Admission Counsellors.
- Track every lead from enquiry counselling application admission fee collection.
- Follow up with students and parents at appropriate stages.
- Identify reasons for non‑conversion and initiate corrective action.
- Support the management team in closing high‑value admissions.
E. Target & Revenue Responsibility

F. Team Coordination
- Coordinate with Digital Marketing for lead‑generation campaigns.
- Work with Telecallers for lead qualification and follow‑up.
- Coordinate with Counsellors for student profiling and counselling.
- Coordinate with Finance/Admin for application and payment status.
- Provide regular business updates to Management.
- Assist in developing new sales strategies and market‑development plans.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES

Monthly
- Achieve assigned admission/revenue targets.
- Develop new institutional partnerships.
- Review conversion ratio.
- Prepare monthly business‑development report.
- Analyse revenue generated from each channel/partner.
- Prepare the next month's business plan.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
Minimum: Graduate in any discipline.
