Job summary

Randstad looks for a Buyer/Procurement Officer to manage on-site procurement tasks in Bhilai/Rourkela, with 4–5 years of experience in procurement and strong supplier management. The role requires coordinating with clients and ensuring timely material delivery, while maintaining MIS reports and SLA adherence.

Responsibilities include RFQ preparation, tendering across proprietary/global modes, and reducing PR to PO cycle time. Knowledge of SAP and SRM is preferred; CTC is negotiable.

Qualifications

• Desirable: RFQ for services/contract/AMC procurement and handling them independently.
• Procurement experience in Proprietary/Limited/Global tendering mode.
• Knowledge of statutory clauses/circulars and their applicability.
• Experience organizing pre-bid meetings if required.
• Working relationship with operational levels of suppliers and handling supplier clarification needs.
• Knowledge of preparing comparative statements.
• Negotiation process knowledge and ability to negotiate.
• SAP & SRM knowledge.

Incumbent will be responsible for

• Procurement as per SLA
