Job summary

Randstad in Bastar region is seeking a Buyer (Procurement) to manage end-to-end purchasing for a designated client. The role involves coordinating with suppliers and the client to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of all materials.

The incumbent will drive RFQ creation, tendering, and supplier negotiations, while maintaining MIS reports and ensuring compliance with SLA and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of preparing RFQs for services/contract/repairing/AMC procurement and handling them independently.
• Knowledge of procurement in Proprietary / Limited/ Global tendering mode.
• Knowledge of different statutory clauses/circulars and their applicability.
• Experience of organising pre-bid meeting, if required.
• Working relationship with operational levels of suppliers and handling supplier clarification needs.
• Knowledge of preparing comparative statements.
• Knowledge of the process of negotiation and ability to negotiate.
• Knowledge of SAP & SRM.
