Job summary

Vrb Consumer Products in India is looking for a Purchase Executive to manage procurement for the manufacturing plant, sourcing raw materials, packaging, and spares, and ensuring timely material availability. You will coordinate with production, planning, QA, stores and finance to fulfill material needs and optimize costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering or Supply Chain.
• MBA (Operations/Supply Chain) preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in Purchase/Procurement within FMCG, Food Manufacturing or Process Industry.

Responsibilities

• Raise PRs and POs for materials and consumables.
• Procure raw materials, packaging, engineering spares and general items.
• Coordinate with production, planning, QA, stores and finance for material needs.
• Follow up with vendors for timely deliveries and maintain vendor relationships.
• Source new vendors and conduct evaluations; negotiate prices and terms.
• Monitor inventory to avoid stock-outs and excess stock; ensure GRN and invoice processing.
• Resolve supplier-related quality and delivery issues; maintain procurement MIS and records.

We are looking for a Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for the manufacturing plant. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, vendor coordination, purchase order creation, timely material availability, cost optimization, and maintaining procurement records while ensuring compliance with company policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Raise Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO).
• Procure Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, Engineering Spares, Consumables and General Items.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, QA, Stores and Finance teams for material requirements.
• Follow up with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships.
• Source new vendors and conduct vendor evaluations.
• Compare quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels to avoid stock-outs and excess inventory.
• Ensure timely GRN coordination and invoice processing.
• Resolve supplier-related quality and delivery issues.
• Maintain procurement MIS and purchase records.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and audit requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
