Job summary

Intellics Global Services in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Senior Windows System Administrator (L3) to design, deploy, and manage robust Windows and hybrid infrastructure. The role covers server, AD, DNS, DHCP, virtualization, cloud, and automation, with leadership of L1/L2 teams.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting complex issues, ensuring uptime, and maintaining security and documentation. Travel for deployment and support may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience administering Windows Server environments.
• Strong skills in PowerShell and scripting for automation.

Job Description: Senior Windows System Administrator (L3)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Hyper-V, VMware, and SQL environments.
• Resolve complex Windows performance issues, server crashes, boot failures, memory leaks, and production incidents.
• Design, deploy, migrate, and optimize infrastructure with minimal downtime and zero data loss.
• Manage Azure/AWS environments, virtualization, storage, backups, patching, security, and disaster recovery.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, and other scripting/configuration management tools.
• Lead L1/L2 teams, manage escalations, perform root cause analysis, and follow ITIL processes.
• Maintain technical documentation, CMDB accuracy, security compliance, and change/rollback plans.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Windows Server 2008/2012/2016+, PowerShell, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, Hyper-V, and enterprise data centers.
• Excellent Windows performance troubleshooting, memory dump analysis, kernel/user-mode concepts, Registry, CMD, and Sysinternals tools.
• Working knowledge of Linux, Azure, AWS, networking, storage, backup, and database technologies.
• Experience with Azure architecture, security, automation, source control, and CI/CD is preferred.
