Job summary

ContactX Resource Management Pvt Ltd invites an experienced Manager of Control Engineering to lead a multi-disciplinary team in a manufacturing/engineering setting in Pune. You will guide design, testing, commissioning of PLC/DDC, HMI/SCADA and BMS projects for HVAC and chiller systems.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of experience in Controls Engineering, HVAC/Chiller Automation, or BMS.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
• Experience in a managerial/leadership role with direct/functional team of at least 5.
• Strong knowledge of PLC/DDC, HMI/SCADA, and control design reviews.
• Experience with Siemens and/or CAREL platforms.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of at least 5 members in the Controls Engineering function.

• Take ownership of the complete Controls Engineering function, including resource planning and project coordination.
• Ensure effective execution of projects and resolve technical issues within agreed timelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
• Current experience in a Manager, Assistant Manager, or equivalent leadership role preferred.
• Minimum of 5 team members handled directly or functionally.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC/Chiller Automation, BMS, PLC/DDC Programming, HMI and SCADA.
• Experience with Siemens and/or CAREL control platforms preferred.
• Knowledge of control design reviews, programming, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Strong project planning, task allocation, team management and performance monitoring skills.

• Experience in customer interaction, stakeholder coordination and technical team development.
• Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
