Job summary

Vrb Consumer Products is seeking a procurement professional to manage packaging material supply for manufacturing plants. The role involves ensuring no material shortages and timely release of POs to vendors, while monitoring inventory levels and usage trends across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in packaging procurement in the food industry, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems and MIS reporting. Knowledge of food safety standards is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in raw material procurement/handling in the food industry.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and procurement best practices.

• To ensure no shortage of Packaging Material at plants
• To ensure release of purchase orders to vendors timely
• Checks inventory, tracks how inventory used & share the daily stock report & usage trends.
• Resolving vendor disputes and any quality-related issues.
• Develop & Maintain relationships with new & existing suppliers.
• Coordination with plant teams at different locations

• Good negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal team.
• Technical qualification in Printing/Packaging will be an added advantage.
