Shoppers Stop is seeking a Unit VM Head to lead the visual merchandising strategy for the unit in India. You will drive brand-aligned displays, manage a VM team, coordinate with departments, and deliver innovative visuals that enhance customer experience and sales.

The role requires strong planning, budgeting, and vendor management skills, with a track record of creating engaging store presentations and leading cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• FDDI or NIFT fashion design education is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store VM strategy and ensure displays meet brand standards.
• Plan and standardize merchandise presentation and planograms.
• Manage fixtures placement and execute the display calendar.
• Train staff on VM and merchandise presentation.
• Manage signage for in-store and brand displays.
• Vendor management and cost control for VM budgets.
• Plan and execute VM for events in liaison with Marketing.

About the Role

The Unit VM Head will oversee the visual merchandising strategy for the unit, ensuring that all visual presentations align with the brand's standards and objectives. This role involves managing a team, coordinating with various departments, and executing innovative visual displays.

Responsibilities

• Visual Presentation of Store
• Standardization of visual presentation of Merchandise
• Placement of fixtures as per the planogram
• Planning a display calendar for the unit
• Training on VM & Merchandise presentation to the retail staff
• Management of Signages for instore & also for brands

• Responsible for Focal Points & Windows
• Conceptualizing Design and Execution of Focal Points
• Ensuring focal Points as per the planogram
• Conceptualizing and designing of storyboards for Windows in the Store

• Event Management
• Planning, conceptualizing design & executing VM for events
• Liaison with Marketing for in store communication & events

• Cost Management
• Cost monitoring for VM & ensuring spends are within budgets
• Maintenance of Mannequins
• Management of VM props & elements
