Job Description: Healthcare Recruiter (UK Recruitment)
Location: India (Hybrid / Remote)
Working Hours: UK Business Hours (or overlap as agreed)
Role Purpose
The Recruiter is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for UK-based vacancies, ensuring a positive candidate experience while delivering high-quality hires within agreed recruitment timelines. The role focuses on sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating candidates through to the conditional offer stage.
Working closely with Hiring Managers and the Onboarding Team, the Recruiter will build strong candidate pipelines, manage recruitment administration, maintain accurate recruitment documentation, and prepare recruitment reports. The role requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage recruitment processes efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
Whilst previous UK Healthcare or Social Care recruitment experience is desirable, candidates with strong experience in UK or International Recruitment and excellent recruitment administration skills are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Recruitment
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy allocation through to conditional offer.
- Source, attract and engage candidates using job boards, social media, referrals, LinkedIn and other recruitment channels.
- Screen CVs and shortlist candidates against job specifications.
- Conduct competency-based telephone and virtual interviews.
- Assess candidates' skills, experience and suitability for the role.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring requirements.
- Ensure recruitment targets and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are achieved.
- Deliver an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
2. Candidate & Hiring Manager Coordination
- Liaise with Hiring Managers to understand recruitment requirements.
- Coordinate interview schedules and candidate communications.
- Provide regular recruitment updates to Hiring Managers.
- Manage candidate expectations throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain professional relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
- Escalate recruitment challenges or difficult-to-fill vacancies where appropriate.
3. Recruitment Administration & Documentation
- Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Manage manual recruitment documentation ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare recruitment packs, interview documentation, offer paperwork and recruitment records.
- Ensure all recruitment documentation is maintained in line with company procedures.
- Update recruitment trackers and maintain audit-ready recruitment files.
- Support a smooth handover of successful candidates to the Onboarding Team.
- Ensure recruitment records are accurate, organised and compliant.
4. Recruitment Reporting & Data Management
- Maintain recruitment dashboards, trackers and vacancy reports.
- Prepare weekly and monthly recruitment reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Monitor recruitment KPIs including vacancy status, interview activity, offers and hiring progress.
- Analyse recruitment data and identify recruitment trends.
- Ensure recruitment information is accurate, up to date and available for management reporting.
5. Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with company recruitment processes and UK recruitment legislation.
- Verify Right to work and identify any gaps prior to onboarding.
- Ensure candidates are informed of all pre-employment requirements.
- Work closely with the Onboarding Team
- Escalate any safeguarding or recruitment concerns appropriately.
- Support recruitment audits and quality assurance activities.
6. Data Protection & Confidentiality
- Handle candidate information in accordance with UK GDPR and company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of candidate records and recruitment documentation.
- Ensure secure storage and handling of sensitive recruitment information.
- Report any actual or potential data breaches immediately.

Experience & Qualifications
Essential
- 25 years' experience in UK Recruitment, International Recruitment, Talent Acquisition or Recruitment Administration.
- Experience managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle.
- Strong experience handling manual recruitment documentation and maintaining accurate recruitment records.
- Experience preparing recruitment reports, dashboards and management information using Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS or CRM platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple recruitment activities simultaneously.
Desirable
- Experience recruiting for UK Healthcare, Social Care or Care Home organisations.
- Experience supporting international recruitment campaigns.
