Job summary

ITC Infotech Bengaluru seeks a Linux DevOps Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation using Ansible Automation Platform, acting as SME for complex playbooks. Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience on Linux Debian/Red Hat-based distributions.
• Experience with Docker and containerization concepts in Linux.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Groovy.

Responsibilities

Linux DevOps Engineer

Cluster Name - Appliance Cluster Shape Name and Abbreviation- GDS-ALPN Relevant Experience 3-4 Years Total experience- 4 Years Location- Bangalore Whitefield Design, develop, and maintain robust automation solutions using Ansible Automation Platform Serve as the subject matter expert for Ansible, creating complex playbooks, roles, and collections to automate everything from provisioning to configuration and application deployment. Develop and integrate with REST APIs to connect disparate systems, enabling seamless end-to-end automation and enhancing our CICD toolchain. Operate, support, and continuously improve our existing Linux solutions with a focus on proactive monitoring, automated recovery, and performance tuning. Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk, developing custom dashboards, alerts, and advanced queries PromQLSPL. Independently conceive and implement automation tasks within an agile team, documenting and presenting work progress and results. Manage SSLTLS certificates, including installation, renewal, troubleshooting, and ensuring secure communication across Linux servers and application

Linux Scripting:

• o At least 3-4 years of experience in Linux DebianRed Hat-based distributions.
• o Experience with Docker and containerization concepts in a Linux environment.
• o Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Groovy.

Ansible Automation:

• o Expert-level knowledge of Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform formerly TowerAWX.
• o Proven experience developing and maintaining complex Ansible playbooks, roles, and custom modules.
• o Experience with dynamic inventories and integrating Ansible with other systems e.g., CMDBs, cloud providers.

API Integration:

• o Fluent in consuming, designing, and integrating with REST APIs for system automation and toolchain orchestration.
• o Strong scripting skills in Python specifically for API interaction and automation tasks.

Monitoring Logging:

• o Deep experience implementing and managing monitoring solutions like Prometheus and Grafana.
• o Proficiency in log management with Splunk, including building dashboards and advanced searching with Splunk Search Processing Language SPL.
• o Strong command of PromQL for creating complex queries and alerting rules.

Secret Management:

• o Hands-on experience with secrets management -Any tool is required, including configuration and administration CICD DevOps Tools:

CICD DevOps Tools:

• o Knowledge of automating tasks with Jenkins, particularly using "Pipeline as Code."
• o Familiarity with GitGitHub Enterprise, JFrog Artifactory, and JIRA.

Active Directory EntraID Support Collaboration:

• o Experience in SecondThird Level Support with a talent for advanced troubleshooting in an automated environment.
• o Proven ability to work effectively in an agile ScrumSAFe team, with excellent self-organization and problem-solving skills.
• o Business-fluent English is required.
