Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services invites an experienced Ansible Developer to lead infrastructure automation efforts in a fast-paced environment. You will design and implement IaC solutions, build reusable automation modules, and integrate automation workflows with enterprise tools such as ServiceNow and Jira.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years in Ansible development, strong scripting skills in Python/PowerShell/Bash, and deep knowledge of YAML/JSON and REST APIs, delivering scalable, reliable

• Strong proficiency in Ansible Automation Platform, Terraform, Python, PowerShell, Bash, Git/GitHub/GitLab, YAML, JSON, REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Build Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions for provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Develop reusable automation modules, templates, scripts, and workflows.
• Create integrations between automation platforms and enterprise tools.
• Optimize existing automations for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Maintain source code repositories and version control standards.
• Perform daily operational activities related to infrastructure automation and orchestration.
• Troubleshoot failed automation executions and resolve workflow-related issues.
• Support automation requests raised through ServiceNow; automate tasks using Python, YAML, PowerShell or Bash and REST APIs.
• Incident & Problem Management: provide root cause analysis for production incidents and platform health issues.
• Integrate automation workflows with: ServiceNow, Jira.
