Job summary

Myntra, India’s leading fashion and lifestyle platform, is seeking a highly analytical Category Management professional in Bengaluru. You will bridge data and strategic execution, driving category performance and inventory optimization across the ecommerce ecosystem.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Product teams to translate insights into actionable actions, while maintaining strong vendor onboarding and assortment expansion efforts.

Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for heavy data manipulation.
  • Willingness to learn SQL, Tableau, or Google Analytics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive problem-solver with high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Data analysis & insights to uncover market trends and translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Identify white space by analyzing market trends and competitor gaps.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Product teams to align initiatives.
  • Ensure healthy inventory levels and support onboarding of new vendors to expand product assortment.

We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Category Management candidate to join our dynamic E-commerce team. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between raw data and strategic business execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Dive deep into consumer and retail data to uncover market trends, track category performance metrics, and translate complex datasets into actionable business insights.
  • \"White Space\" Identification: Actively analyze market trends, run competitor gap analyses, and evaluate customer search queries to spot emerging product categories and unfulfilled consumer demands.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison: Manage stakeholder relationships across Marketing, Supply Chain, and Product teams.
  • Operational Execution: Collaborate daily to ensure healthy inventory levels, optimize digital storefront displays, and support the onboarding of new vendors to expand our product assortment.
Requirements & Qualifications.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for heavy data manipulation, alongside an eager willingness to learn advanced analytics tools like SQL, Tableau, or Google Analytics.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are absolutely essential, as you will be presenting data-backed recommendations directly to Category Managers and external partners.
  • Core Attributes: A proactive problem-solver with high emotional intelligence, meticulous attention to detail, and the organizational agility to manage multiple project timelines simultaneously while thriving through ambiguity.
