Job summary

Myntra, India’s leading fashion and lifestyle platform, is looking for a Senior Category Manager in Bengaluru to manage fashion business portfolios end-to-end. You will handle analytics, financial planning, range planning, sourcing, and vendor management to drive growth.

Lead a team across designers, factory operations and sourcing, while orchestrating timelines to ensure on-time delivery and optimized profitability for multiple product categories.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with Fashion Background.
• Familiarity with category management for relevant category.
• Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement.
• Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships.
• Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analysing and interpreting data.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for optimizing sales for a group of products.
• Growth of categories.
• Product-Brand mapping and product range planning for the category.
• In-depth product knowledge with cost understanding.
• Planning and forecasting to maximize profitability; trend forecasts and sale plans.
• Competition analysis with respect to trends and assortment matrix.
• Financial analysis including sales, margin, discount and inventory.
• OTB working with central planning.
• Planning inventory flow for the entire category.
• Leading a team of designers, factory operations and sourcing.
• Vendor-Product mapping and building fabric/printing base networks.
• Supply chain and processes to ensure production within 30 days from concept to delivery.
• Liaison with brands and coordination with sales and marketing.
