Job summary

GrittyTech in the Greater Hyderabad Area is seeking a Tutor Acquisition Trainee. This full-time, on-site role focuses on identifying, sourcing, evaluating and onboarding qualified tutors across subjects to meet platform needs.

You will conduct initial screenings and interviews, coordinate assessments and reference checks, and maintain databases and onboarding processes. Collaboration with academic and operations teams, building a strong tutor pipeline and delivering timely recruitment reports

Role Description

The Tutor Acquisition Trainee is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Hyderabad Area. The trainee will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, evaluating and onboarding qualified tutors across various subjects and professional domains to meet platform requirements.

Key responsibilities include conducting initial screenings and interviews to assess tutors' subject expertise, teaching experience, communication skills and overall suitability. The role involves coordinating tutor assessments, demo sessions and reference checks, maintaining accurate tutor databases, and supporting the onboarding process.

The trainee will collaborate with academic and operations teams to understand tutor requirements, match qualified tutors with suitable learning opportunities, monitor tutor performance and gather feedback. The role also requires maintaining recruitment reports, ensuring documentation and verification compliance, and building a strong pipeline of potential tutors.

Qualifications

• Ability to identify, source and recruit qualified tutors across multiple subjects and professional domains.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with tutors and internal teams.
• Ability to conduct structured candidate screenings, interviews and evaluations.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to maintain databases, recruitment trackers and reports.
• Basic understanding of education, teaching or tutoring environments.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, email and other office productivity tools.
• Ability to work independently, manage recruitment targets and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing requirements.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree or diploma in any discipline. Prior experience or internship in recruitment, talent acquisition, academic coordination or education support will be an advantage.

Compensation & Benefits

During Probation:

15000-18000Rs per month

• Probation Duration: 5 Months
