Job summary

iTeach Schools in Mumbai is seeking a recruiter to drive recruitment activities, screen applicants, schedule interviews and maintain the ATS. The role involves sourcing candidates from online portals and running recruitment pilots to build a strong talent pipeline.

Ideal candidates will have English proficiency, MS Excel skills, and a graduate-level or current student status (2nd/3rd year). This is an on-site role in Maharashtra with a monthly stipend during the internship period.

Overview

The quality of school education available to students from low-income communities across India is abysmal. Their chances of getting admitted to a college or building a career are much lower than their high-income peers, condemning them to a life without voice or choice. iTeach was born to declare war on this status quo and create a level playing field for ALL children.

We do this in Pune and Navi Mumbai by co-creating contextual school models with Municipal Corporations.

We run 12 free and high-impact secondary schools and a college-to-career program for the most disadvantaged students. In 2024, with a staff of 300 members across 12 schools, we will serve 4500 students and 3000 alumni - giving students a fighting chance at college, career, and citizenship. We aim to grow to 30 schools and 10,000 students over the next five years.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving recruitment activities. Assisting in sourcing and screening candidates from different online portals.
• Conduct CV screenings, phone/Video screenings and Walk-ins to assess candidates against role requirements, competencies, and organizational values.
• Scheduling interviews and updating the candidates on the interview process.
• Managing the applicant database on Applicant Tracking Software
• Working on designing and executing various recruitment pilots.
