Job summary

iTeach Schools in Pune and Navi Mumbai is hosting a recruitment drive to source and screen candidates for our mission-driven team. You will coordinate interviews, assess applicants for role fit, and maintain the candidate pipeline to support our high-impact schools.

The role requires clear English communication, proficiency with MS Excel and MS Office, and the ability to work with an ATS to streamline hiring processes. This is a 30 hours/week position with a stipend and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have strong English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office tools.
• Graduate or current student pursuing graduation (any field).

Responsibilities

• Drive recruitment activities and assist in sourcing candidates from online portals.
• Conduct CV screenings, phone/video screenings, and walk-ins to assess fit.
• Schedule interviews and keep candidates informed about the process.
• Manage the applicant database on the ATS and maintain records.
• Design and run recruitment pilots to build a strong candidate pipeline.

Overview

The quality of school education available to students from low-income communities across India is abysmal. Their chances of getting admitted to a college or building a career are much lower than their high-income peers, condemning them to a life without voice or choice. iTeach was born to declare war on this status quo and create a level playing field for ALL children.

We do this in Pune and Navi Mumbai by co-creating contextual school models with Municipal Corporations.

We run 12 free and high-impact secondary schools and a college-to-career program for the most disadvantaged students. In 2024, with a staff of 300 members across 12 schools, we will serve 4500 students and 3000 alumni - giving students a fighting chance at college, career, and citizenship. We aim to grow to 30 schools and 10,000 students over the next five years.

• Driving recruitment activities. Assisting in sourcing and screening candidates from different online portals.
• Conduct CV screenings, phone/Video screenings and Walk-ins to assess candidates against role requirements, competencies, and organizational values.
• Scheduling interviews and updating the candidates on the interview process.
• Managing the applicant database on Applicant Tracking Software
• Working on designing and executing various recruitment pilots.
