Job summary

Avadhoot Travels in Pune is seeking a proactive travel-support professional to manage enquiry calls, WhatsApp messages, and customer requests for intercity travel. You will understand needs, present options, and convert enquiries into bookings while coordinating daily operations.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and reporting skills. Weekend/holiday work may be required, with a focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming enquiry calls, WhatsApp messages, and customer requests related to intercity travel.
• Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate travel options, schedules, fares, and other relevant information.
• Convert enquiries into bookings and follow up with potential customers.
• Monitor and coordinate daily intercity travel operations to ensure smooth and timely execution.
• Coordinate with drivers, vendors, operations staff, and other internal teams as required.
• Track daily bookings, cancellations, changes, customer requirements, and operational issues.
• Ensure all travel-related information is accurately updated in the company's systems or records.
• Identify and resolve customer or operational issues promptly.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports covering bookings, enquiries, conversions, cancellations, revenue, and other relevant KPIs.
• Maintain proper records of customer enquiries and follow-ups.
• Follow up with customers regarding bookings, payments, confirmations, and travel details.
• Escalate operational or customer-service issues to the concerned senior/team member when required.
• Assist the management team with data and reports required for improving operations and sales.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the enquiry and booking process.
