Envision Technology Solutions in India is seeking a Transport Specialist to optimize our transportation and logistics operations across multiple locations. You will oversee employee commute programs, vendor-managed fleets, and hardware/service deliveries, driving efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
• MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 8+ years of proven experience in transport, fleet, or logistics operations (tech-driven or large-scale preferred).
• Strong understanding of Indian transport laws, vendor ecosystem, and metro-city logistics challenges.
• Hands-on experience with transport tech tools (fleet management software, GPS, MIS dashboards).
• Strong leadership, vendor negotiation, and cost-optimization skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Overview of the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to optimize our transportation and logistics operations across multiple locations in India. The role will oversee employee commute programs, vendor-managed fleets, hardware/service deliveries, and ensure all transport-related compliance and safety requirements.

As a Transport Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving efficiency, safety, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness in line with our tech-first and employee-centric philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations & Vendor Management

• Oversee employee transportation systems, including shuttles, cabs, and EVs.
• Manage logistics for hardware dispatch and field service mobility.
• Negotiate, onboard, and manage transport vendors, contracts, and SLAs.

2. Safety, Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure adherence to legal, environmental, and corporate safety standards.
• Lead emergency transport planning and BCP (Business Continuity Planning) scenarios.
• Maintain compliance with RTO regulations, labor laws, and other Indian transport norms.

3. Budgeting & Cost Optimization

• Manage and optimize transportation budgets, fuel/energy consumption, and fleet costs.
• Identify and implement cost‑saving initiatives without compromising service quality.

4. Technology Integration

• Partner with IT/Engineering to deploy GPS tracking, route optimization, and AI‑based monitoring tools.
• Drive sustainability initiatives by introducing electric fleets, shared mobility, and digital‑first tracking models.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with HR to address employee commute requirements and feedback.
• Work closely with Admin, Facilities, Security, and Corporate Travel teams.
• Liaise with government authorities, transport unions, and external agencies as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
• MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 8+ years of proven experience in transport, fleet, or logistics operations (experience in tech‑driven or large‑scale organizations preferred).
• Strong understanding of Indian transport laws, vendor ecosystem, and metro‑city logistics challenges.
• Hands‑on experience with transport tech tools (fleet management software, GPS, MIS dashboards).
• Strong leadership, vendor negotiation, and cost‑optimization skills.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• HR certifications (SHRM‑SCP, SPHR, etc.) will be an added advantage.
