Job summary

Synergy Group seeks a training professional to design, deliver, and review regulatory training for the shipping sector in Mumbai. The role focuses on developing modules aligned with laws and client needs, including simulator-based scenarios for electronic engines.

You will review programs regularly to stay updated with changes in statutory guidance and ensure courses and records are properly maintained and accessible to teams.

Qualifications

• Must have sailed as Chief Engineer or Second Engineer.
• Experience with Electronic Engines required.
• Wet Fleet experience preferred (Oil/Chemical/Gas).

Responsibilities

• Development of training modules in line with Client requirement, in line with statutory and regulatory guidance.
• Review training programs at assigned intervals against changing laws and guidance and keep the training course material up to date.
• Prepare simulator scenarios in line with Client requirements and include in training courses.
• Check simulator software at regular intervals and highlight any shortcomings for due rectification.
• Complete tasks assigned within the given timeframe.
• Maintain a high degree of punctuality when facilitating training courses.
• Ensure training records are handed over to concerned teams for storage/ dissemination.
• Keep abreast of changing requirements- both statutory and regulatory and promptly make amendments in course delivery.
