Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Trainer - Training to conduct process trainings for coding specialists in a Chennai-based team. You will provide floor support during ramp-up to maintain quality and participate in KT sessions with clients.

The role requires 3–5 years in US health care coding, strong training delivery skills, and ability to create learning materials for ongoing knowledge enhancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical coding training is required.
• Knowledge of EM IP OP and Surgery coding.
• Coding Certification CPC/CCS/COC/AHIMA required.
• Graduate with 3+ years in US healthcare coding.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct process trainings for coding specialists.

• Lead trainings on medical coding updates for US healthcare systems.
• Create training materials and handbooks.

• Conduct process trainings for coding specialists.
• Floor support to coders during transitions to ensure quality standard maintenance during ramp-up period.
• Conduct focused trainings for quality improvement based on error findings.
• Publish monthly articles/updates on Healthcare regularly for enhancing coders knowledge and expertise.
• Ensure timely completion of onboarding compliance trainings for new hires as per Global and client requirement.
• To participate in client calls, meeting, and KT sessions as per requirement
• Lead training sessions on current updates in the medical coding field for US based healthcare systems.
• Training coders on US health care systems its updates as per protocol
• To create presentations, develops learning material, handbook, and other required training materials.

Job Specification:

• In-depth knowledge of coding process, coding system software, workflow management.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology, body systems/anatomy, physiology, and concepts of disease processes.
• Must have Coding Certification like CPC / CCS / COC / AHIMA.
• Any Graduate with minimum 3 years of experience in EM IP OP and Surgery coding
• Good to have training / coaching / mentoring experience.
