Job summary

Aga Khan Rural Support Program (India) invites applications for the post of Trainer (IT) at Netrang Region (Its multiple location). The trainers will deliver programs in employability sectors including Digital Marketing, BFSI, Advanced Excel, and Power BI to empower rural and urban youth.

Responsibilities include designing modules, mentoring trainees, and facilitating placements, with on-site/off-site training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of training IT skills incl Advanced Excel, Data Analytics, Coding and employability coordination.
• Hands-on experience with Advanced Excel and Power BI is essential.
• Experience with rural and urban youth is desirable.
• English trainer capable to teach effectively.

Purpose of a project

AKRSP(I) is seeking dedicated and experienced Employability Skills Trainers to join our team. The trainers will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs in various employability sectors, including Retail, Digital Marketing, Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), Advanced Excel, and Power BI, Basic AI Fundaments and coding. The goal is to equip youth from rural and urban areas with the necessary skills to secure white-collar jobs.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for youths in the areas of Digital Marketing, BAFS, Advanced Excel, and Power BI.
• Utilize a variety of training methods to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of trainees through assessments, feedback, and performance tracking.
• Offer continuous support and mentorship to trainees, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their career goals.
• Facilitate the project implementation and placement process
• Deliver hands-on training to youth and community members
• Design and implement digital learning modules
• Guide learners in adopting emerging technologies and tools for employability

Essential Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Trainer with Excellence fluency in Spoken English and Strong command over the Grammer for the mentioned positions.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in developing training materials and using various training methodologies.
• Ability to inspire and motivate young individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Coordination, teamwork, self-starter with excellent project management skills

Qualifications:

• Graduate / Postgraduate (Computer Science /IT/Engineering/BCA/MCA/Technical Diploma in IT, BBA, MBA) with minimum 1-3 years of work experience in Training of IT skills like Advance excel, Data Analytics, Coding, employability skills and coordination of training programs along with placements.

Experience:

• Proven experience (3+ years) in training and skill development, preferably in the targeted sectors.
• Hands-on experience with Advanced Excel and Power BI is essential.
• Experience working with rural and urban youth is highly desirable.
• English Trainer who can teach English effectively and professionally, also can apply.
