Job summary

NIIT Foundation is seeking a Trainer to deliver BPO training per the approved curriculum, developing learners’ communication, etiquette, digital literacy and employability skills. Sessions use role plays, case studies and practical exercises to ensure job relevance and engagement.

Responsibilities include monitoring attendance, counseling learners for retention, identifying learning gaps, preparing remedial interventions, and coordinating with the placement team for job readiness and interview

Qualifications

• Graduate degrees in business, commerce or marketing or related discipline.
• Diploma or Training of Trainers certification is desirable.
• Strong facilitation, presentation and classroom-management skills.
• Ability to conduct practical demonstrations and activity-based training.
• Proficiency in English and Hindi; knowledge of local language desirable.
• Good command of MS Office and digital reporting tools.

Job Description

Deliver BPO training in accordance with the approved curriculum and session plans.

Develop learners’ communication, workplace etiquette, digital literacy and employability skills.

Use role plays, case studies, demonstrations, group activities and practical exercises to make sessions engaging and job-relevant.

Monitor learner attendance, punctuality, participation and performance.

Counsel and motivate learners to improve retention and course completion.

Identify learning gaps and prepare appropriate remedial interventions.

Promote professional behavior, discipline and readiness for the workplace.

Assessment and Documentation

Conduct diagnostic, formative and final assessments as prescribed.

Evaluate practical assignments, role plays and learner projects.

Maintain accurate attendance, assessment, session-delivery and learner-progress records.

Prepare and submit reports within defined timelines.

Maintain supporting evidence and documentation required for program reviews and audits.

Placement Support

Prepare learners for interviews, group discussions and workplace interactions.

Conduct mock interviews and provide individual feedback.

Coordinate with the placement team to assess learners’ job readiness.

Share accurate learner profiles, assessment results and placement recommendations.

Follow up with placed learners and support their workplace retention.

Curriculum and Quality

Provide feedback on the relevance and effectiveness of training content.

Participate in trainer-development programs, reviews and standardization exercises.

Ensure compliance with NIIT Foundation’s training standards, safeguarding requirements and organizational policies.

Maintain training equipment, learning resources and classroom infrastructure responsibly.

Requirements

Graduate in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing or a related discipline.

Relevant certification or Training of Trainers certification is desirable.

Candidates with strong BPO experience and an appropriate diploma may also be considered.

Strong facilitation, presentation and classroom-management skills.

Ability to conduct practical demonstrations and activity-based training.

Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi; knowledge of the local language is desirable.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, online learning platforms and digital reporting tools.

Ability to assess learners objectively and maintain accurate documentation.

Strong mentoring, counseling and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with training, mobilization, placement and project teams.
