Job summary

Henkel India in Pune, Maharashtra, is hiring for a Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) role. The position supports the Integrated Management System (IMS), conducts internal audits and maintains documentation and records. You will plan audits, track findings, and assist in safety reviews across the site.

Ideal candidates hold an M.Sc. in Chemistry or BE in Chemical, fresh graduates welcome, with basic ISO knowledge and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IMS and documentation control for ISO standards.
• Familiarity with HIRA, JSA and SHE compliance basics.
• Understanding of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001.
• Fresh graduates may apply; experience is a plus.
• Ready to upgrade certifications related to SHE management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update IMS documents, SOPs and records.
• Coordinate document review, revision control and distribution.
• Plan, conduct and report internal audits per schedule.
• Track audit findings and close corrective actions.
• Assist in review of HIRA, Aspect Impact, OTI.
• Conduct workplace safety observations and compliance audits.
• Support incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate SHE trainings, toolbox talks and safety campaigns.
• Maintain SHE performance dashboards and KPI records.
• Support legal compliance, external audits and mgmt reviews.
• Promote safe work practices and continual improvement.

Support the SHE department in implementing and maintaining the Integrated Management System (IMS), conducting internal audits, ensuring documentation compliance, and assisting in day-to-day safety activities across the site.

What you´ll do

• To maintain and update IMS documents, SOPs, work instructions, registers, and records.
• To coordinate document review, revision control, and document distribution.
• To plan, conduct, and report internal audits as per the audit schedule.
• To track audit findings and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
• To assist in review of HIRA, Aspect Impact, OTI.
• To conduct workplace safety observations and compliance audits.
• Support incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action implementation & closure. Review and analyze SUSA’s.
• Coordinate SHE trainings, toolbox talks, and safety awareness campaigns.
• To maintain SHE performance dashboards, KPI reports, and statutory records
• To support legal compliance, external audits, and management review meetings.
• Promote safe work practices and drive continual improvement initiatives.
