Job summary

Kiron Manufacturing Systems Pvt Ltd in Ahmedabad seeks a skilled Mechanical Engineer to program and operate CNC laser, bending and rolling equipment, and to optimize sheet metal workflows.

You will read engineering drawings, perform nesting for material efficiency, apply Lean and Six Sigma, control scrap and rejections, and lead teams focusing on productivity and safety. You will also handle costing for materials and work with multiple sheet metal grades.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sheet metal manufacturing.
• Strong CNC programming, nesting, costing, and team handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CYP-Cut Laser, Delem Bending Controller, Rolling Machine.
• Perform nesting for laser cutting machines to optimize material usage.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma practices for process improvement.
• Control rejections, scrap, and ensure quality standards.
• Work with sheet metals of different grades using CNC Laser Cutting, Waterjet Cutting, CNC Bending, and CNC Rolling.
• Lead teams with a focus on productivity and safety.
• Handle costing calculations for raw, in-process, and finished materials.
