Job summary

Konecranes is seeking a Diploma Trainee to join the Crane Service team. You will be responsible for on-site services and maintenance, following planned work by the service planner and documenting work against SR/WP.

Strong English communication and teamwork are essential, with exposure to MS Office. Location is flexible across India, offering a hands-on development path within a global leader in material handling solutions.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical required.
• Good written and verbal communication in English preferred.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Support the Crane Service team with planned site work.
• Accept work packages and log work against SR/WP.
• Do not create new service requests; follow defined processes.
• Record faults/exceptions using Risk & Recommendation method.
• Estimate labour hours and parts cost for repairs.
• Perform Safety Review and Visit Review and record next steps.
• Advise customers to support informed buying decisions based on recommendations.
• Maintain awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 standards.

Job Description

We are now looking for Diploma Trainee who is passionate about working with our Crane Service team. In this role, you will be responsible for services and maintenance at site location.

Your key role:

• Work assignments are planned by the branch (service planner) and assigned to the Trainee.
• The Trainee accepts work packages and enters work against the SR/WP.
• The Trainee cannot create new service requests (except through “do work”).
• Record faults/exceptions using Risk & Recommendation method,
• Estimate labour hours and parts cost for repairs.
• Perform Safety Review and Visit Review and record next steps.
• Consult with our customers to permit informed buying decisions based on recommendations made.
• Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 standard

Qualifications

Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical

Competencies and skills we expect for this role:

• Good written and verbal communication in English, any other language is a plus
