Job summary

Konecranes is seeking a Diploma Trainee to support our Crane Service team with on-site services and maintenance across India. You will follow planned work, record faults, and assist in estimating labor hours and parts costs.

As you gain hands-on experience, you will perform safety and site reviews, communicate with customers to aid informed decisions, and align with ISO 14001 & 45001 standards while growing with the Industrial Services, South Asia team.

Qualifications

• Diploma required in Electrical or Mechanical.
• English communication skills are essential; other languages are a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in teams and use MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Work assignments are planned by the branch (service planner or maintenance planner) and assigned to the Trainee.
• The Trainee accepts work packages and enters work against the SR/WP.
• The Trainee cannot create new service requests (except through “do work”).
• Record faults/exceptions using Risk & Recommendation method.
• Estimate labor hours and parts cost for repairs.
• Perform Safety Review and Visit Review and record next steps.
• Consult with our customers to permit informed buying decisions based on recommendations made.
• Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 standard.
