Job summary

Konecranes India is seeking a Diploma Trainee to join our Crane Service team in Vadodara. You will assist with on-site services and maintenance, follow planned work packages, and help engineers with fault recording and cost estimates.

You will develop your skills in safety reviews, customer consultations, and working within the Risk & Recommendation method, while aligning with ISO 14001 & 45001 standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work effectively in teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Work assignments are planned by the branch and assigned to the Trainee.
• The Trainee accepts work packages and records them against SR/WP.
• The Trainee cannot create new service requests except through ''do work''.
• Record faults/exceptions using Risk & Recommendation method.
• Estimate labour hours and parts cost for repairs.
• Perform Safety Review and Visit Review and record next steps.
• Consult with customers to inform buying decisions based on recommendations.
• Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 standards.

Your key role:

• Work assignments are planned by the branch (service planner) and assigned to the Trainee.
• The Trainee accepts work packages and enters work against the SR/WP.
• The Trainee cannot create new service requests (except through “do work”).
• Record faults/exceptions using Risk & Recommendation method,
• Estimate labour hours and parts cost for repairs.
• Perform Safety Review and Visit Review and record next steps.
• Consult with our customers to permit informed buying decisions based on recommendations made.
• Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 standard

Qualifications

Qualification: Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical

Competencies and skills we expect for this role:

• Good written and verbal communication in English, any other language is a plus
• Ability to work in teams
• Knowledge of MS Office
