Job summary

Konecranes is seeking a Diploma Trainee to join the Crane Service team. The role focuses on on-site maintenance, fault recording, and cost estimation under the guidance of branch planners.

You will learn to process work packages, perform safety reviews, and support customers in informed decisions based on service recommendations. Location is anywhere in India, with opportunities to work across locations in the region as part of the South Asia Industrial Services team.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical is required.
• Good written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate with others.
• Knowledge of MS Office and basic software tools.

Responsibilities

• Work assignments are planned by the branch (service planner) and assigned to the Trainee.
• The Trainee accepts work packages and enters work against the SR/WP.
• The Trainee cannot create new service requests (except through “do work”).
• Record faults/exceptions using Risk & Recommendation method.
• Estimate labour hours and parts cost for repairs.
• Perform Safety Review and Visit Review and record next steps.
• Consult with our customers to permit informed buying decisions based on recommendations made.
• Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 standard
