Responsibilities

• Identify, negotiate, and finalize contracts or rates with transport brokers and carriers to secure economical and reliable routes.
• Oversee daily dispatches and plan optimal routes, tracking shipments in real time.
• Monitor vehicle health, coordinate servicing, and manage repairs to minimize breakdowns and delays.
• Identify transit bottlenecks and route disruptions and deploy quick alternative solutions.
• Ensure transport activities adhere to national and international laws, driver qualifications, safety regulations, and cargo documentation.
• Monitor operational expenses such as fuel, maintenance, and toll charges to stay within budget.
• Maintain clear communication with drivers, brokers, and customers regarding delivery statuses and issue resolution.

• Broker and Carrier Management: Identify, negotiate, and finalize contracts or rates with transport brokers and carriers to secure economical and reliable routes.
• Dispatch and Routing: Oversee daily vehicle dispatches, plan optimal routes based on distance, fuel efficiency, traffic conditions, and delivery schedules, and track shipments in real time.
• Fleet and Vehicle Maintenance: Monitor vehicle health, coordinate periodic servicing, and manage prompt repairs to minimize breakdowns and avoid delays.
• Incident and Delay Management: Identify potential transit bottlenecks, mechanical failures, or route disruptions and quickly deploy alternative solutions.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all transport activities adhere to national and international transport laws, driver qualifications, safety regulations, and cargo documentation standards.
• Cost and Expense Tracking: Monitor operational expenses such as fuel usage, maintenance costs, and toll charges to keep logistics within the allocated budget.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Maintain clear communication with drivers, brokers, and customers regarding delivery statuses and issue resolution.
