Job summary

Voltech HR Services (VHRS) seeks a skilled Tool & Die Maker with a minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in press tools, progressive dies, and carbide tooling. The role demands the ability to assemble, service, troubleshoot, and maintain precision tools to ensure uninterrupted production.

Experience in motor lamination dies and high-speed progressive tooling is highly preferred; candidate should work safely with conventional tool room machines and adhere to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience with press tools, progressive dies and carbide tooling.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, service, maintain, and repair press tools, progressive dies, and carbide dies.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of press tools to minimise production downtime.
• Analyse tool failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot online production issues and support smooth production operations.
• Carry out servicing of blanking dies, compound dies, progressive dies, and notching dies.
• Perform alignment of cutting elements and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Monitor tool spares inventory and maintain adequate stock levels.
• Identify opportunities for tool improvement during servicing and communicate recommendations to shift in-charges and production teams.
• Operate conventional tool room machines safely and efficiently.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and manufacturing standards.
• Work independently on tool assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
