Job summary

Aditya Birla Group is seeking a Manager for Digital Transformation (Smart Workplace) to lead and execute initiatives across Hindalco’s IT and digital landscape. You will act as the single point of contact for techno-functional delivery, align with legal, HR, finance, procurement, and other functions, and ensure ROI from digital transformation programs.

Job Purpose

As a TM – Digital Transformation (Smart Workplace), your role is pivotal in executing initiatives under smart workplace strategy across Hindalco’s IT and digital landscape. As a Techno functional SPOC, you will be responsible for implementing digital and data led transformation projects for corporate functions such as legal, HR, finance, procurement, etc. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, map as-is and to-be processes, identify ROI, design solution, implement, monitor & improve adoption of digital solutions that enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also act as a change agent and a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and business partners. Post implementation, you will work with business teams to ensure ROI and value creation metrics for initiatives have been delivered.

With 5-8 years of experience in leading large strategic and technology led enterprise initiatives, consulting, agile project management, business process mapping, you are expected to interpret problem statements, deliver customer centric solutions that align with Hindalco's technology framework.

• Proficiency in consulting, business process mapping and agile project/program management
• Proficiency in change management techniques to drive adoption of new technologies and processes among employees.
• Ability to collaborate with various business functions such as Finance, HR, Legal, others to integrate digital solutions seamlessly across the organization and build a smart workplace organization.
• Understanding of the manufacturing industry and corporate functions to identify opportunities for digital innovation and process optimization.
• Capacity to identify complex challenges and develop creative solutions to overcome obstacles during the digital transformation journey.
• Familiarity with a wide range of digital technologies such as workflow automation, digital enterprise solutions, AI, cloud computing, data analytics, and automation relevant to manufacturing operations

• Research and evaluate emerging digital technologies for corporate manufacturing functions, considering factors such as cost, scalability, and alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with vendors and technology partners to pilot and test solutions in real-world manufacturing environments.
• Develop implementation plans and execute the deployment of selected technologies, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Monitor and assess the performance of digital solutions, iterating and optimizing as needed to maximize value.
• Ensure solutions map and incorporate current business process requirements seamlessly
• Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
• Establish cross-functional project teams comprising representatives from IT, and corporate business functions to implement smart workplace solutions.
• Facilitate regular communication and feedback sessions to keep business stakeholders informed and involved in the transformation process including steercoms, program updates, risk governance, etc.
• Address concerns and resistance to change through effective communication and change management techniques.
• Build strong relationships with executive leadership to secure sponsorship and resources for digital projects.
• Change Management and Organizational Readiness
• Develop change management plans that address the needs and concerns of employees at all levels of the organization.
• Provide training and support to help employees acquire the skills and knowledge needed to embrace digital tools and processes.
• Communicate the benefits of digital transformation and the impact on job roles and responsibilities.
• Monitor employee sentiment and engagement through CSAT, early user experience feedback and improvisation, adjusting strategies as needed to address challenges and barriers.
• Performance Measurement and Continuous Improvement
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to digital transformation goals, such as productivity gains, cost savings, and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular reviews and assessments to evaluate progress against targets and identify areas for improvement.
• Solicit feedback from stakeholders and incorporate lessons learned into future initiatives.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in digital transformation, leveraging insights to refine strategies and approaches over time.
