Jobitus in Kurla, Mumbai, seeks an Executive – Technology Cell to drive digital transformation across manufacturing sites, focusing on CMMS and MES and coordinating with IT, automation, and vendors.

You will assist with data management, system integration, and project coordination, ensuring regulatory compliance and robust documentation. The role is based on-site and on payroll with an auto-renewable contract based on performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in digital transformation, CMMS, MES, or manufacturing IT applications.
• Tech / B.E. in Instrumentation, IT, CS, or related engineering discipline.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, process, or other manufacturing industries will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with ERP and maintenance systems (e.g., SAP PM) desirable.

Responsabilités

Working Time: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

Note: This role will be on payroll of Talisman HR Solutions
Auto renewable contract based on performance.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Job Purpose

As a part of Technology cell of Global engineering and Project , To support the implementation, integration, and continuous improvement of digital solutions across manufacturing sites, with a focus on Digital Transformation, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). The role coordinates with business stakeholders, site teams, IT, automation, and technology vendors to improve operational efficiency and enable effective adoption of digital platforms.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Digital Transformation

• Support execution of digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing sites.
• Identify opportunities for process automation, digitization, and operational excellence.
• Gather business requirements and coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors to translate them into technology solutions.
• Support project planning, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
• Prepare project documentation, status reports, presentations, and action trackers.

B. CMMS – Computerized Maintenance Management System

• Support implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of CMMS solutions.
• Assist with maintenance master data, including equipment master, functional locations, preventive maintenance plans, and task lists.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to improve work order management, preventive maintenance execution, and asset reliability.
• Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), user training, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with site teams and vendors to improve system utilization and drive continuous improvement.

C. MES – Manufacturing Execution System

• Support MES implementation, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
• Assist in gathering and documenting user requirements, process workflows, and system specifications.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, IT, automation, and vendor teams during implementation and testing.
• Support recipe execution, electronic batch records, production data capture, and ERP/automation integration, as applicable.
• Track application issues, support troubleshooting, and coordinate corrective actions with technology vendors.
• Assist with validation documentation and compliance activities in regulated manufacturing environments.

D. System Integration and Data Management

• Support integration between MES, CMMS, ERP/SAP, automation systems, and other digital platforms.
• Assist in data collection, cleansing, standardization, migration, and validation.
• Support API-based integrations, database-related activities, and data exchange between systems, as applicable.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and follow applicable IT, cybersecurity, and data integrity requirements.

E. Project Coordination and Support

• Track project milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and action items.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve issues on time.
• Conduct user training and support change management and user adoption activities.
• Provide first-level application support and coordinate escalations with relevant teams.
• Prepare management dashboards, progress reports, and implementation updates.

3. Educational Qualification and Experience

• Tech / B.E. in Instrumentation, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
• Candidates with equivalent relevant qualifications and demonstrable practical experience in digital technologies may also be considered.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in digital transformation, CMMS, MES, or manufacturing IT applications.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, process, or other manufacturing industries will be an advantage.

4. Technical Skills and Competencies

• Basic understanding of CMMS, MES, ERP, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with SAP PM or other maintenance management systems is desirable.
• Exposure to MES platforms such as Siemens Opcenter, Körber PAS-X, Rockwell PharmaSuite, or equivalent solutions is desirable.
• Understanding of system integration, databases, APIs, and industrial automation interfaces is an advantage.
• Knowledge of software testing, UAT, defect tracking, and project documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and project coordination tools.
• Awareness of GMP, data integrity, and computerized system validation in pharmaceutical manufacturing is desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to collaborate with site teams, IT, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and external vendors.
• Willingness to travel to manufacturing sites as required.
