Job summary

Hero MotoCorp Ltd. in India invites applications for a maintenance engineer in the frame plant.

You will plan and direct maintenance activities, oversee utility maintenance, and ensure zero breakdowns while controlling repair costs and inventory. The role requires B.Tech or Diploma in electrical engineering with relevant years of experience; you will work with SAP, PLCs, CNC machines, and safety protocols to keep operations efficient and safe.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Electrical Engg with 3–5 years experience.
• Diploma in Electrical Engg with 5–9 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day to day maintenance activities in Frame plant area equipment to ensure zero breakdown and control repair cost and inventory.
• Safe processes in a morale boosting atmosphere for working manpower.
• Understating energy use and consumption concepts and ensuring optimization.
• Basic analytical skills to understand energy performance and ensure adherence.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• 1. Ensuring day to day maintenance activities in Frame plant area equipment to ensure zero breakdown as well as keeping repair cost and inventory in control as per defined targets.
• 2. Safe processes in a morale boosting atmosphere for working manpower.
• 3. Understating energy use and consumption concepts and ensuring optimization.
• 4. Basic analytical skills to understand energy performance and ensuring adherence.

A Day in the life

Planning and directing the overall maintennace work and coordinating responsibilities. Overseeing Utility maintennace jobs at plant

Academic Qualification & Experience

• 1. B.Tech in electrical Engg with 3 to 5
• 2. Diploma in electrical Engg with 5 to 9 years of relevant experience

Technical Skills/Knowledge

• 1. MS Office, SAP & PPT
• 2. 5S, TPM, SPC & TPS
• 3. Robot Operations / SCADA System
• 4. Knowledge about CNC and PLCtrouble shooting
• 5. Safety protocols exposure for handling of electronics parts
• 6. Hand on experience of Fanuc Controls, Mitsubishi PLC , HMI,VFD
• 7. Exposure on Grinding , CNC Drilling, VMC
• 8. Honing, Induction Hardening, Robots, Spot &Seam Welding Machines,
• 9. Experience on Marposs On line Gauging System
• 10. Experience in CNC, PLC controls of Mitsubishi
• 11. FANUC, Siemens and Mechanical Assemblies)
