Job summary

Hero MotoCorp is seeking a TM/Line In charge for Plant Operations in Kotputti-Behror, Rajasthan. The role focuses on planning new improvements, driving cost-saving projects, and enhancing warehouse productivity through careful project execution and capacity planning.

You will lead capex projects, ROI analysis, vendor discussions, and ensure timely installation and commissioning, with a focus on continuous improvement and Industry 4.0 practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical with 2–3 years of experience.
• Prior exposure to warehouse/plant operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP MM, AutoCAD, and WMS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and plan new improvements and cost-saving projects in warehouse operations.
• Identify new projects under IMP Theme, Shinning Projects and Capex.
• Plan and obtain budgetary approvals and oversee capex procurement.
• Perform concept, ROI/IRR analysis, vendor discussions, techno-commercial freezing, ordering, installation and commissioning.
• Plan capacity expansion and monitor line capacity and bottlenecks.
• Update layouts and drive productivity improvements in existing processes.

As a TM/Line In charge – you will be a part of Conceptualizing and planning new improvement, cost saving projects, revisiting existing facilities to increase the productivity in warehouse operations.

A purpose driven role for you

• Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
• New projects identification and implementation.
• Identify new Projects as required under IMP Theme, Shinning Projects and Capex Projects.
• Plan and take Budgetary approval.
• Procurement of Capex-
• Concept, A3 preparation, ROI/IRR, Vendor discussion, Techno-commercial freezing, Ordering, Installation & Commissioning, Handing Over as per Plan and Payment release
• Plan & Enhance Plant Capacity as per Business need.
• Monitor New parts addition and Line Capacity availability.
• Identify the GAPs
• Layout study and update.
• New Capacity addition as per Management approval.
• Revisiting Existing Process to increase the Productivity in Warehouse Operation
• Cost Saving Projects.
• Identification of bottleneck areas, Re-layouting, Re-engineering , Reprocessing and LCA implementation
• Technical & Professional Development to Industry 4.0. Practices.
• Development & Trainings towards Factor Automation Practices, Green Packaging , IMS, Poka Yokes' , Critical I&C, SOP, OPL, 5's, , Fitment & Fixtures , Vendor Handling towards I&C, Work Report -Drafting & Identification, Tools & Tackles Uses, NFPA Safety Norms For I&C,HIRA & CIRA
