Job summary

Hero MotoCorp is seeking a TM/LI for Engine Assembly within its plant operations. You will oversee and coordinate the engine assembly process, ensure quality, implement efficient production techniques, and manage manpower to meet targets.

The role requires a Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 3–5 years in a manufacturing plant in the two-wheeler sector. Strong problem-solving and supervisory skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BTech in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing plant in the two-wheeler industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage shift production of Engine Assembly with optimal resource use and quality focus.
• Review quality gate data, FPIs, and provide defect feedback.
• Review PPE consumption by stage per norms and plan actions.
• Monitor part rejection and drive corrective actions.
• Update KPIs daily in OLE/JH/CLRI and drive improvement.
• Analyze gaps on OLE/JH boards and implement action plans.

As a TM/LI - Engine Assembly you will be a part of Plant operations and will report to Section Head. Your role will be:
Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the assembly process, ensuring adherence to quality, implementing efficient production techniques and handle the manpower to achieve the target production & delivery.

A purpose driven role for you

Your Key responsibilities will include,but not limited to:
1.Manage the Shift production of Engine Assembly through optimum utilisation of resources and Ensuring best quality practices to achieve Market demand.
2.Hourly Review of Quality gate/MI/FI data and feedback to concern for any defect.
3.Review of Stage wise PPEs consumption as per norms
4.Monitoring and analysis of part rejection and Action Planning
5.Daily data updation of KPIs in OLE/JH/CLRI
6.Analysis and Action planning in OLE/JH board gaps
7.Daily 3s Audit , identifying gaps and action planning

To plan, coordinate and execute the activities in the Engine Assembly in order to keep the operations run smoothly and achieve the daily business targets.

Academic Qualification & Experience

Diploma / BTech in Mechanical Engineering
Min 03-05 year experience in Manufacturing plant in 2 Wheeler industry
