Job summary

Tata Electronics in India is seeking an experienced automation engineer to strengthen its Industrial Automation division. You will apply PLC, machine vision, robotics, sensors, and pneumatics expertise, support DFM with customers and suppliers, and coordinate FAT and SAT activities on-site.

The role requires an engineering degree and 6–8 years in automation engineering, with EMS/OEM experience and familiarity with SOPs, WIs, FMEA, and control plans.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support in PLC, machine vision, robotics, sensors and pneumatics.
• Apply knowledge of processes and equipment in automation projects.
• Coordinate DFM with customers and suppliers, and oversee FAT and SAT.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SCM, Sales and Business.
• Minimum 3 years as OEM/OSS in EMS industry.
• Prepare documentation and maintain SOP/WI.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and on-site.
• Support the development of Control Plans.
