Job summary

Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is seeking an experienced Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automation equipment. The ideal candidate will hold a diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Robotics, Automation, or SPMs, with hands-on robot programming, PLC knowledge, and automation experience.

Key responsibilities include maintenance, robot programming across major brands, PLC programming, and supporting QMS documentation and PM activities to ensure optimal uptime.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Robotics, Automation, or Special Purpose Machines.
• Candidates should have hands-on experience in robot programming, PLCs, and automation.
• Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automation equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automation equipment, including robots, PLCs, and Special Purpose Machines.
• Assist in developing and implementing robot programs for ABB, FANUC, KUKA, EPSON, SODICK, and PANASONIC robots.
• Assist in designing, developing, and implementing PLC programs using Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Allen Bradley platforms.
• Assist in automating manufacturing processes using robotics, PLCs, and SPMs.
• Assist in developing and maintaining Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
• Assist in planning and executing Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities and spare parts management.

• Maintenance and Repair: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automation equipment, including robots, PLCs, and special purpose machines.
• Robot Programming: Assist in developing and implementing robot programs for ABB, FANUC, KUKA, EPSON, SODICK, and PANASONIC robots.
• PLC Knowledge: Assist in designing, developing, and implementing PLC programs using Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Allen Bradley platforms.
• Automation: Assist in automating manufacturing processes using robotics, PLCs, and special purpose machines.
• QMS Documentation: Assist in developing and maintaining Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
• PM Activity: Assist in planning and executing Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities to ensure equipment sustainability.
• Spare Parts Management: Assist in managing spare parts inventory to minimize downtime.

Essential Attributes

• Robot Programming: Experience in programming robots from ABB, FANUC, KUKA, EPSON, SODICK, and PANASONIC.
• PLC Knowledge: Knowledge of PLC programming using Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Allen Bradley platforms.
• Automation: Experience in automating manufacturing processes using robotics, PLCs, and special purpose machines.
• QMS Documentation: Experience in developing and maintaining QMS documentation.

Education Requirements

Experience

• 3-6 years of experience in automation, preferably in the EMS industry.
