Job summary

Madarwala Tours & Travels, Secunderabad, Telangana, India, is seeking a Travel Executive / Ticketing Executive to handle flight bookings, cancellations, and itinerary creation using Amadeus. You will assist customers, understand requirements, and provide fare information to convert enquiries into bookings.

Role requires excellent communication and knowledge of ticketing procedures; IATA certificate is preferred. Full-time, day shift in India.

Qualifications

• IATA certificate preferred/required.
• Good knowledge of Amadeus.
• Strong understanding of airline ticketing procedures.
• Good knowledge of itinerary preparation.
• Excellent communication and convincing skills; ability to understand customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handle flight ticket booking, cancellations, rescheduling, and related ticketing procedures.
• Use Amadeus for airline reservations and ticketing activities.
• Prepare and manage travel itineraries according to customer requirements.
• Assist customers in selecting suitable flights, travel routes, and packages.
• Communicate with customers and understand their travel requirements.
• Provide accurate information regarding fares, schedules, availability, and travel policies.
• Handle customer queries and provide timely assistance.
• Use strong communication and convincing skills to convert enquiries into bookings.
• Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and other travel service providers when required.
• Maintain accurate booking and customer records.
• Ensure all ticketing and travel documentation is completed correctly.
• Provide professional customer service throughout the booking process.
